The gift voucher

A gift voucher is a stored-value voucher of €10 to €200 that can be spent on food and drinks at Magic Story restaurant.

The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the voucher.

The voucher can be used over several visits. Each bill is deducted from the voucher and the remaining value stays on it until it expires. If a bill is higher than the balance, you pay the difference as usual.

The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and remaining value is not paid out. The voucher is transferable: whoever presents it can use it.

You can check the balance at any time on the “Check voucher balance” page or by scanning the QR code.

Purchase and payment

You buy the voucher on this page. Payment is processed by the secure payment provider Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never receive your card details.

After a successful payment you receive the voucher as a PDF with a unique code at the email address you entered. Stripe sends the payment receipt.

The restaurant issues a VAT invoice when the voucher is redeemed, as that is when the service is provided.

Lost voucher

If you lose the voucher or do not receive it, write to rezervacija@magicstory.si. We will send it again with the same code. The remaining value stays on the voucher.

Right of withdrawal

An unused voucher can be returned within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Write to rezervacija@magicstory.si with the voucher code. We refund the payment to the same payment method within 14 days and the voucher becomes invalid.

A partly used voucher cannot be returned.

Redemption

Show the voucher when paying at the restaurant (printed or on your phone). The waiter scans the QR code and deducts the amount. We recommend booking a table in advance.

Complaints

We accept complaints at rezervacija@magicstory.si and reply within 8 working days. We aim to resolve disputes amicably. Disputes fall under the court with subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction in the Republic of Slovenia; consumers keep their rights under the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1).
